Those stunning vistas turn to generic industrial corridors in the campaign's latter parts, and the initially intriguing premise of a world split into two warring factions is represented by lacklustre dialogue and padded-out mission design. Unfortunately, this warm, fuzzy feeling fades away the further you play the campaign. It looks gorgeous, with jaw-dropping vistas of imposing futuristic cities complete with blinding lights and grungy details, and superb facial animation that really gives the feeling that you're really being ushered into a new generation. Killzone: Shadow Fall gives a very good first impression.
